Dr. V. Raghuraman started his career with Indian Railways in the year 1986 and found his passion in sales and marketing, thereby left railways and joined in corporates.  For the first 15 years of his career he moved into various industries like Chemical, Paint, Cement and timeshare industry where he held senior positions. He has a track record of driving sales and marketing function with multicultural organizations. He was also consistent in achieving targets and working collaboratively with dealers and partners. Raghuraman has a footprint across India and is highly skilled at optimizing resources and generating cost efficiencies.

During his   professional journey, a well-wisher identified his strength and suggested to try-out a different line of industry which happened to be in education industry where he got an opportunity to lecture for MBA students from Guru Nanak College. After a year, a windfall struck, and he seized the opportunity to serve in one of the Middle East countries as a senior faculty in a college nearly a decade.

Interesting Anecdote:

While interviewing for a position in the middle east, he was questioned to prove his mettle. He said that he was to use adaptability as a strategy so that he could fit in the country with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
